Registration of copyright

With copyrights, the equity rights of economic content are acquired, which permits the owner or his authorized licensees to benefit from the exploitation, reproduction, communication, application and diffusion.

To show intellectual property it is appropriate to use the letter c enclosed in a circle, ©, which is the symbol of the owners of intellectual property copyrights that is established in the Universal Copyright Convention, approved in Geneva.

Time Periods and Period of Validity

The copyright registration process usually takes around 1-3 months.

The time period of validity for a particular work is 50 years once the copyright is granted.

Our fees to register copyrights are the following (values include official fees):

• Written/oral works (less than 100 words): $2,462
• Software: $ 2,676
• Music, dramatic, choreographic, acrobatic, arts and photographic works: $ 2,676

Requirements

To carry out the registration of your work in China, the following must be sent:

• A simply signed Power of Attorney
• Corporation certificate with seal of company
• Filing infosheet simply signed
• Relevant copyright works

Regarding Copyrights

The term "work" includes works of literature, art, natural science, social science, engineering technology and the ones expressed in the following forms:

• written works
• oral works
• musical, dramatic, quyi', choreographic and acrobatic works
• works of fine art and architecture
• photographic works
• cinematographic works and works created by virtue of an analogous method of film production
• drawings of engineering designs, and product designs; maps, sketches and other graphic works and model works
• computer software
• other works as provided for in laws and administrative regulations
